ABOUT US
Bond of Peace Ministries is a nondenominational, multicultural ministry committed to teaching the principles of the Kingdom of God. As Jesus declared in Luke 12:32, “It is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom.”We believe it is our calling to facilitate unity and peace through the message and reality of God’s Kingdom. When a person comes into Christ, they are not just saved—they become citizens of the Kingdom. As Kingdom citizens, they begin to experience a life marked by peace, confidence, joy, power, and authority.Through this transformative understanding, every aspect of life is impacted. Our mission is to help people fully embrace their Kingdom identity and walk in the fullness of what God has given them.
Pastor Maurice and Minister Amelia Marshall are the proud parents of three wonderful children: Makayla, Najeel, and Olivia. Their journey of faith and service has taken them from cleaning and cooking in Buffalo, NY and Boston, MA, to ministering to children, youth, and sharing the Word of God in Louisville, KY and now here in Michigan.Through every season, one thing has remained constant—God has been good to the Marshall family. It is their honor and joy to serve in His Kingdom, and their lives are deeply connected to that calling. For them, serving God means serving His people. And that, too, is an honor they hold close to their hearts.

Matthew 28:20
(Jesus says)
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you
CORE BELIEFS
Matt 28:20 (Jesus says)
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you:
We believe that we have received a mandate from our Heavenly Father taken directly from scripture. Mark 16:15 says, “Go ye into all the world and make disciples of all men.” Ephesians 4:11 says, “It was He who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.”
We Believe In...
SCRIPTURES
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God—written by holy men of old as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. It is not merely a historical document, but the living, authoritative voice of God.We accept the New Covenant, as recorded in the New Testament, as our infallible guide in all matters of conduct and doctrine.“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God…”—2 Timothy 3:16; 1 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Peter 1:21
THE GODHEAD
Our God is one, but manifested in three Persons– The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, being coequal (Deuteronomy 6:4; Phillippians. 2:6). God the father is greater than all; the Sender of the Word (Logos) and the Begetter (John 14:28; John 16:28; John 1:14). The Son is the Word flesh-covered, the One Begotten, and has existed with the Father from the beginning (John 1:1; John 1:18; John 1:14). The Holy Spirit proceeds forth from both the Father and the Son and is eternal (John 14:16; John 15:26).
ETERNAL LIFE AND THE NEW BIRTH
Salvation begins with godly sorrow—a sorrow that leads to true repentance (2 Corinthians 7:10).According to Scripture, the New Birth is essential for all people. As Jesus said, “You must be born again” (John 3:3–5). When a person experiences the New Birth, they receive eternal life through Jesus Christ (1 John 5:12).
Sanctification
The Bible teaches that without holiness, no one will see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14).
We believe in the Doctrine of Sanctification as a definite, yet progressive work of grace. It begins at regeneration—the moment of salvation—and continues throughout the believer's life, culminating in the fullness of salvation at Christ’s return.
Sanctification is both a position we are given in Christ and a process of becoming more like Him daily (1 Thessalonians 5:23; 2 Corinthians 3:18; Philippians 3:12–14; 1 Corinthians 1:30; 2 Peter 3:18).
Water Baptism
Baptism in water is by immersion, a direct commandment of our Lord, and is for believers only. The ordinance is a symbol of the Christian's identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection (Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:4; Colossians 2:12; Acts 8:36-39). The following recommendation regarding the water baptismal formula is adopted; to wit: "On the confession of your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and by His authority, I baptize you in the Name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen."
Baptism in the Holy Spirit
The Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a gift from God, promised by the Lord Jesus Christ to all believers in this present age. It is an experience that occurs after the New Birth, empowering the believer for service, boldness, and a deeper walk with God (Matthew 3:11; John 14:16–17; Acts 1:8).This baptism is accompanied by the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues, as the Holy Spirit gives utterance (Acts 2:1–4; Acts 2:38–39; Acts 19:1–7).
Divine Healing
Healing is for the physical ills of the human body and is made available by the power of God through the prayer of faith and the laying on of hands (James 5:14–15; Mark 16:18).
Healing is a provision of Christ’s atonement, as foretold in Isaiah and fulfilled through Jesus’ suffering and sacrifice (Isaiah 53:4–5; Matthew 8:17; 1 Peter 2:24).
It is the privilege of every believer and a promise still available to the Church today.
Resurrection of the Just & The Return of our Lord
The angels declared to Jesus’ disciples that "This same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven" (Acts 1:11). His return is imminent. When He returns, “The dead in Christ shall rise first; then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air” (1 Thessalonians 4:16–17). This event is often referred to as the Rapture. After the Tribulation, Jesus will return to earth as King of kings and Lord of lords. With His saints, who will be kings and priests, He will reign for a thousand years (Revelation 5:10; 20:6).
Hell & The Eternal Retributuion
The one who physically dies in their sins without accepting Christ is hopelessly and eternally lost, condemned to the lake of fire, with no further opportunity to hear the Gospel or repent. The lake of fire is literal. The terms "eternal" and "everlasting" used to describe the punishment of the damned in the lake of fire carry the same meaning of endless existence as when describing the duration of joy and ecstasy of the saints in the presence of God (Hebrews 9:27; Revelation 19:20)
